Some artificers specialize in crafting weapons and tools imbued with holy energy, designed to target demons and other fiends. These Demon bane artificers are skilled exorcists, able to create devices that can weaken, bind, or even banish demons.
**Level 3:** Sacred Smithing:
Sacred Smithing grants proficiency in two tools related to crafting and allows proficiency bonus addition to one ability check once per day.
For level 6, how about **Fiendish Ward**? You can create a protective barrier around yourself or an ally that grants temporary hit points equal to your Intelligence modifier + your artificer level. This ward also provides advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed by fiends for one minute.
**Level 9: Exorcist’s Tools** You gain proficiency with one type of artisan’s tools. When you use your tools to craft a weapon or item intended for demon slaying, you can add your Intelligence modifier to the damage rolls of attacks made with that item.
**Level 12: Banishment Surge** Once per long rest, when you deal damage to a fiend, you can choose to unleash a surge of energy that forces the fiend to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the fiend is banished to its home plane for one minute.
**Level 15: Holy Infusion** You can infuse your weapons with holy energy. Choose a number of weapons equal to your Intelligence modifier; they deal an extra 1d8 radiant damage against fiends and can bypass resistance or immunity to non-magical damage.
