
Both Demons, heirophant forces, and many other undead, and miscellaneous forces of chaos seem to favor ranged combat tremendously
Furthermore many of the effects they rely upon are seldom directly harmful
And what’s worse they generally favor relying upon massive numbers instead of fighting you to your face.
To deal with this rangers have come to understand a few things.
- The age of swords has ended now in order to survive a shoot out you must accept that you are in a shoot out.
- Two magical knowledge is needed to deal with magical foes. High level wizards need to atleast require counter spell and dispell magic.
- Machinery and magic have combined forces and now everybody is a wizard thanks to the invention of the rune caster.
Because of this and many other reasons rangers have decided that the only way to survive is to beat the heirophant and his forces at their own game and for this reason a set of organized ranks was created for rangers to do battle with auto fireball casting machines of death.
All Rangers may now select from this list of bonus fighting styles. (Its also available to Paladins and Fighters)

Gremlin: All electrical attacks on constructs can stun them for one round ( use your save DC to avoid stunning)
Exorcist: Substitute all damage on a spell to become radiant energy. You are considerd to be a celestial warlock and may also impose any disadvantage to saves when you cast the banishment spell which you also have as apart of your spell list.
Carney trained paladin: You darkest secrets have been learned from the most heroic Ring Leaders. Now no mage or machine stands in your way.
- When casting a spell at a single foe you may now instantly add smite damage to that spell as it was made by a paladin useing a nellee smite evil atack
- Aditionaly whenever you are hidden you can cast counter spell( you automaticaly learn this spell and always have it memorized) and you can use this spell while hidden a number of times for free equal to your wisdom score.
- You also add detect magic to you spell list and may also add that effect onto things whenever you invoke spe ial orders.

As with all things staining special ranks in a given area comes with certain privledges.
To illustrate these we have outlined the privledges officers get at each rank the
As usual rank is determined by the numbers of crimes and profiles and officer specializes in.

Rank 1, Lieutenant stealth and investigation are added to your list of skills known
Rank 2, Sergeant, paladin spells now become apart of all your knowable spells and you get the crossbow expert feat.
Rank 3, Captain. You now add warlock spells to your list of knowable spells, and you get the feat spell sniper.
Rank 4, detective. You can now locate and remove traps and you are proficient with thieves tools when doing so.
- Aditionaly you may convert and wand or ranged Weapon you own into its rune caster equivalent.
Rank 5 Deputy. You when you are hiden you are presumed to have the elven accuracy feat. Aditionaly. You can learn any spell you want as if you were a warlock of your equivalent level. This spell is considerd to be a part of your executive orivledge and may only happen when your score a critical hit.
Rank 6, Sherif. You gain another executive action spells and may change any other executive action spells you have. Aditionaly you can cast any spell you know and have slots for as a bonus action on the condition that shoots at a foe you have a warrant for that same turn. ( you can do this a number of times per day equal to your wisdom)

Rank 7, Comissioner. You gain one more executive action spells and you may cast up to 6th level spells as if you had the spell slots of a warlock. Alternatively you could instead choose to smite evil like a paladin of your level/2 and smite foes using ranged attacks.
Rank 8, Comisioner 1st class. You are always considered to have a hail of thorns spell ( max) up and working for you whenever you are hidden
Rank 9, City Gurdian Junior Grade, You gain two executive action spells from any spell list.
Rank 10, State Gurdian: As long as you have a warrant for the arrest of serious offender with multiple charges you and your rune caster are considerd to be benefiting from the spell lightning arrow.
