These were once messenger birds used by soldiers in World War 2 afterwordsb these birds in life were bred as food
Later they were left to fend for themselves in city’s with no wild survival skills of their own. They survived as best they could but the died anyway.
Now they fly across the multivers to deliver others out of harm. Always a mages friend. These birds have delivered parties of adventurers out of the bowels of hell itself and even when they get sent to the mistwalk after being dispersed in combat they will always return to the soldiers who loved and care for them just as they did in world War two.

The wraith can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. It takes 5 (1d10) force damage if it ends its turn inside an object.
In a Poof of smoke.
You can conjure one of these creatures from the Mist Walk when you make a perform as a bonus action after casting a fourth level spell or higher. Perform DC 16 for one wraith DC 18 for two.
Into My Hat.
Wit a slight of hand check DC 14 an arcane spell caster can sacrifice a 1st level spell to conjure one of these birds without expending the normal gold cost that comes with the find familiar spell. This spell affect works like find familiar as unusual.
Innocence
Despite being undead these beings can not be targeted by anti undead spell and spell like abilities.
Sacred Mission
The wraith can use any of these spells once per month. When this creature is taken as a familiar

Heart Sight.
The sprite touches a creature and magically knows the creature’s current emotional state. If the target fails a DC 10 Charisma saving throw, the sprite also knows the creature’s alignment. Fellons automatically fail the saving throw.

The wraith magically turns invisible until it attacks or casts a spell, or until its concentration ends (as if concentrating on a spell).
