• Rune casters: These are magic wands that anybody can build use or upgrade. They typically look like crossbows without strings or ammunition but instead use a crank mounted clip that causes the string, arrow or bolt to appear while it is being automatically fired.
    • Form one Rune Caster is the omni wand and allows anybody to shoot an evocation orb of up to 5th level.
    • Form two Rune Caster is the turret in which a mage hand hovers aims and shoots a rune caster at any attacking enemies in combat from a solitary position. Turrets in this way shoot the scorching ray spell.
    • Form three Rune Caster is the Cannon. This is like form two, but the mage hand is routed to a Tensors floating disk that is supporting the large rune caster that looks like a heavy cross bow. The Cannon, in this case uses the lightning bolt spell.
    • Form four Rune Caster is the rocket launcher. This is just like form three, except for the fact it has a scrying eye at one end to help aim a level four fireball spell down range 600 feet.
    • Form five Rune Caster is a claymore mine: This is similar to the above weapon except that now the weapon is on a hand cross bow and shoots a cone of cold whenever an enemy gets within range.

These objects can be flash forged for 3000gp by a Fabricon backpack. If the out-of-pocket cost to you to build an object is less than 2000gp.  Items made this way will not require time or skill checks to build, and they will also last forever and be accessible in whatever Fabricon backpack you own.

I love to blog.
