You get a tongue atack range twenty feet that does psychic damage equal to 1d4 per proficiency bonus you have and feads you the damage as hp useing this tongue is a standard action. Effect:
You reshape your own brain so that you can adopt the mental nature of an alien being however the higher the CR and more alien the creature the more psychic and temporary wisdom damage you take.
When you cast this spell you do effectively become like the creature you emulate for a while unless you don’t use the right level spell you could take massive psychic and temporary wisdom damage.
However you gain these advantedges.
1: You can adopt one mental spell or spell like ability of the creature you emulate.
2: Your official creature type changes to that of the creature you emulate for the duration of the spell.
3: Your mental ability scores jump up four points higher if that makes your mind more similar to the creatures
4: You gain two physical feats the creature also has.
5: Spells on that beings inate magic spell list are now permanently considerd tobbe apart of your spell list forever but can only be cast when this spell is active
- Undead: extremely alien they dont necessarily use cognitive thought structures in the same way we do rather their skeleton does all the thinking in what’s called a shadow mind system you definitely need a 9th level spell for this one
- Constructs: look I dont even get how your AI spirits function I think they are made of lightning somehow I dont get it use an 8th level spell for them
- Elementals: same issue as with the constructs but ateast these beings are organic so try a 7th level spell with them
- Aberrations: listen I dont recommend giving yourself the brain of a mind flayer but if you must use a 6th level spell
- Monstrosities: look each of the snakes on a medusa’s head has a brain so they have brains rigid to other tiny brains, please use a level 5 spell if you want in on that action
- Dragon: finally not the most horrible idea in the universe but still reptile brains are differen from mammel brains I hear so use a 4th level spell.
- Fey: Aaaaw this sounds like your most sweet sensible sugestion yet but I suspect you want to try to think like a hag to fight a hag as opposed to becoming like an elf to apriciate nature so use a third level spell for that
- Humanoid/Goblinoid: If you wanted to for example take on the mind of a dwarf to understand their culture for a moment that would be a very beutiful use of the spell but the dwarves might not like it though, however you would only need a second level spell for that.
- Humanoid of an alien profession or class: You probably dont need to restructure your brain to learn magic like me we are willing to teach you magic now. I think you are just being lazy in fact but if you want to be lazy all it takes is a 1st level spell.
