A ravenous mad group of green Hags fly towards are mercenary band

The win a large splash of gold  dust from a bard pockets the Hags are blinded for a moment. Then as the gentle magic settles over the trio the Hags slow down for a moment

Then they slowly down and walk over to party and apologize.

After about ten minutes of talking they Hags escort the mercenaries to where the heirophants military base is.

The Hags offer the party a few health potions and promise to identify any magic they might find. As they pray to their goddess to deliver fast victory to their new friends.

Casting Time: 1 bonus action

Required:  (100 gold pieces worth in gold dust per rune band conjured.)

Special: This is a Grand Soul spells as such it grants special powers when cast and costs 2000 gold to learn

Power: you can fundamentally alter an intrinsicly evil or insane being with their consent so that they have authority over how ethical sound minded they wish to be

This in turn allows you to grant any creature the sub type of (Rune Saint).


Effect:

With a wave of your hand a torrent of gold dust that forms hands of gold around a creature

If within that beings natural most un influenced mind they desire the self determination to become the truest reflection of their own initial core beliefs the spell takes effect and the being makes trade with the Orathi system.

Please apply this template to an entity to give it the rune saint subtype.

  • Remove any spell like abilities or magic traits or qualities  that do permanent harm to another being
  • Remove all save or die abilities
  • Tweak the other abilities so that they can injure without long term urination
  • Remove all abilities that  allow the creature to transform convert or twist another creature into becoming something it doesn’t wish to be.

Next grant the creatures these bonuses

  • Add a +6 to the beings inteligence, wisdom, and charisma
  • Remove all weakness and Vulnerabilities the creature has to to being intrinsicly unethical such as but not limited to being turned by good aligned clerics.
  • Remove all weakness that harm the being for being a creature of intrinsic darkness such as sunlight sensitivity.
  • If the being was once a human change their alignment back to the alignment they had as a human. Otherwise move their alignment one step towards good
  • Have the physical features and body of the entity reflect how they truly wish to feel about themselves and what they want others to perceive them as.
  • Grant them levels in the Nomad, Druid, or Bard equal to their Initial CR. As is their preference
  • Nomads get a the moon of powers the ability to conjure a rare object out of shadow. Bards get the moon of truths  gift two feats and four prestige bonus abilities. Druids get the moon of loves gift regeneration 2  and one abjuration or healing spell per CR of the creature added to their list of spells known
  • The ability Rune Cascade: (The next spellor attack made that hits a fellon does an aditional d6 radiant to fellons. Fellons that drop to zero hp by this attack dont die but instead fall unconscious for one day at one hit point

Core feature:

The being you change also develops of circles of gold runes around their arms legs neck and torso up to 10 rune bands can be granted. This will make the being as enlightened and free as possible.

However if you double the amount of gold dust you use after you have decided how much you wish to spend. You can double it and this being will aid you in a quest whenever you cast the (Call to the Mist) And again for 1d4 initial weeks or untill you complete the current quest you are on.


Rune Bands

  • Band of reason: The being sorts out facts from opinions. Chooses evidence over cognitive dissonance. This beings attitude towards you is atleast neutral  friendly if you didn’t harm her. And helpful if you provide assistance to her in some way.
  • Band of Peace. The being understands fact from fiction and reality from conspiracy.  The being knows what is real versus delusion and how to remain calm in face of chaos while making thought out decisions. ( This being has a long enduring calm emotions effect on them and will strongly consider the advice of sound arguments ) . Persaision checks DC 8 plus the creatures CR are necessary to guide this being into acting towards its own rational self interest.
  • Band of Diplomacy: the being self examines its own alien nature relative to that of society demands and considers what she wants from society and also what she is willing to give to it. (This being will give you some as if you were one of its own species to some extent. All your social exchanges with the being are now done at an advantedge)
  • Band of Harmony: The being starts to imagine how her behaivor harms other people and how they feel. Then the being Considers leaving a legacy future historians will remember happily. ( The beings alignment takes one step towards good or goes back to what it was when they were human.)
  • Band of health: the Creatures stomach. Digestive systems and absorbtive magics calm down to a point where they are no longer hungry and can live happily with small meals that could maybe be ethicaly sourced.
  • Band of wholeness: the Creatures phyical or supernatural body heals itself and adopts a more beutiful healthy form. Physical pain and discomfort subside. (The being from now on thinks patiently about the decisions she makes and alow you to fail five social skill checks before becoming unfriendly.
  • Band of Spirit: if the beings mind and cognitive thought structures are severely damaged magical regeneration restores the fully. ( add an aditional 2d4 ability points to the creatures inteligence, wisdom, and charisma)
  • Band of enlightenment: If a being is suffering some kind of supernatural torment for some reason that beings whole magical nature is re engineered so that her runes to all the magical labor her soul used to do on her own giving her mind space to sleep. ( The being now feels like it owes you a debt that she will want to finish off that day.)
  • Band of freedom; if the being is forced to do something or undergo something painfully and unpleasant, or just overly burdensome in some way their runes now find a work away for that act. The being now only does things if its her naturaly will to do them. (The being will immediately spend an additional 1d6 days helping you out immediately now that they have time to do as they please)
  • Band of Hope: the being can cast true polymorph on herself to become any other variety of being as per the spell true polymorph. ( Your whole social exchange now has its DC reduced by 5 points for all interactions)

At Higher levels of of casting this spell affects more CR creatures for each level.

  • At 2nd level this spell affects CR 3 entities
  • At 3rd level this spell affects CR 5 entities so on and so fourth

Aditionaly you have the option affecting larger quantities of beings with this spell.

For example at 3rd lvl you can affect one C5 creature or 5 CR 1 creatures or you can affect one CR 2 entity and one CR 3 entity and so on.
