Captain Archon grabbed a metal belt from a cherry wood shelf and tossed Samantha the ornate belt that consisted of multiple metal plates each had a different rune on it.
What do I do with this?” Samantha asked
“Put it on young las.”Captain Archon said.
With a quick flourish Samantha got on the belt which sparked to life and glowed as she put it on. Then just as soon as Samantha put on the belt a solid glowing green pirates pistol materialized into Samantha’s hand.
“Oh my gosh what’s this!?” Samantha exclaimed.
“Its a mage belt Samantha and whats in your hand is your arcubus. With it you can put a whole through any demon and your mage belt will let you conjure up to three of them. That is three holes a day you can put in a demon when you see one.” Captain Archon said
“Awesome! How do I make it work?” Samantha asked.
“Oh you don’t need to do much Samantha just know that whenever a demon is present the arcubus will manifest for you then all you need to do is just point and shoot. She should work like any other pistol. Then in time who knows what you will be able to do after you develop your brandish. I imagine that you will be able conjure an arcubus as many as ten times and shoot deadly holy fireballs in in time flat.” Captain Archon said
“Oh you really think so?” Samantha asked
“Oh of coarse I do young lady but if you really want to get good with an arcubus there is one thine you need first and that is a Sherpa, and by that I mean you will need training from your own inner shadow to learn how arcubus magic works.”
“That sounds kind of creepy. I don’t know if I should do that.”
“Oh you will be fine Samantha. Me and the crew are about to set coarse to dock on Serpents Isle where there is a guild that also helps young mages train with their sherpas. Its an amazing place they provide lots of snacks and games for children who behave themselves.” Captain Archon said.
“Well that place does sound interesting I would certainly be willing to look at the place but I make no other promises.”
“A chance is all I ask for Samantha. Just see if the games and snacks they provide for you seem nice and if they do than just hear them out on anything else they may be offering to teach you because once you find your sherpa she will be able to empower you to slay most any demon. Also did I mention that your sherpa can set up with getting almost any recourse you want in the realm of Thune as long as you pay your sherpa well.” The captain said
“What is it sherpa’s want?”
“Well Samantha sherpas are the shows of the mind and soul so the biggest thing they want is to be honored and respected. If you can give your shepra time and care like a best friend they will bend over backwards to do anything for you.” the Captain said.

The Silver Harpoon would later dock at serpents isle roughly four hours later after. Captain Archon walked off onto the docks as Samantha trailed behind her. The sights and sounds of tropical pirate life spun around Samantha as the thought.
Samantha head was filled with with racing thoughts about what talking to a sherpa might be like. Samantha’s head filled images of princesses in pink armor riding on top of purple dragons that breathed magic smoke that turned monsters into candy. That was the vision of what her Sherpa must be like and she would accept no substitutes.
