In Thune many there is a Host of Sentinels who watch over the realms of Dreamers many of which have taken on power equal or greater to that of the highest angel.

Saint/ Lady Aranessa
She is the reason human beings and several other humanoid species exist as wizards. Saint Araneessa prayers delivered a blessing that granted humanoid species developed a nervous system capable of manipulating space time and the fabric of scientific law.

She is the reason that all the native magic beings of Thune and all other Thune natives have protection and secrecy. Saint Glocasta’s blessing is the reason that all magic beings have their power come alive and unseen by nonbelievers in Thune and outside of Thune power is only seen when it is loved and protected otherwise more agents like the hierophant might arise and try create their own scouring event.
Lady Glocasta has legions unseen arcane constructs in the form of invisible knights all over Thune each with a grand pike set to defend and protect every magical creature who might have their magical ability and capacity attacked. It has become evident even to the hierophant himself that being angry at magic does in no way let you erase magic
Lady Glocasta was believed to be a holy knight who defended the lives of practitioners of tribal religions to the bitter end at the cost of her own life at which point the lady’s knights with their grand pikes manifested.
Lady/ Saint Erubess
Lady Erubess prayer delivered a blessing that changed all plant life so that the lignin in every plant cell in Thune and in a few other places would contain lines of nano runes each
containing their own enchantments that would transfer to the bones of whoever would eat them.
Lady Erubess also insured that plant life of Thune could evolve sentience and other magic abilities that would allow them to set the terms of if their fruit gets eaten and who gets it
Lady Erubess was believed to run a charity farm and garden for those in impoverished lands until colonizing forces destroyed what she had at which point every plant everywhere changed. And it is for this reason it is believed that magic potions can still work for anybody.
Lady/Saint Montessa
Montessa is believed to be the reason familiars and other simple magical beasts exist Lady Montessa’s blessing ensures that all conscious animal life including all vertebrates and cephalopods can evolve higher levels of intelligence and even mystic properties.
This happens through a system where nervous tissue in all life forms over time grows certain rune-like traits that grant minor mystic talents and over time these talents build up to the point where the animal becomes a magical force.
It is believed that the spirits of these departed animals eventually get promoted into becoming rank 1 angels in heaven and that these guardians eventually become paladin mounts and wizard familiars.
Lady Montessa was believed to be a veterinarian who aided impoverished farmers and other impoverished communities as well as the owner of a ranch and rehoming center for wayward animals. Then after she herself was made homeless Lady Montessa died of a cold in her sleep at which point animals everywhere started acting for more intelligently and even mystical powerful.
